It’s a good day to hit the road: Sun is shining and the road is dry, inviting me to drive on. Todays theoretical goal is Klagenfurt.
So I got on my scooter. Good mood, wind in my face and suddenly a sign in front of me. I had to slam on my brakes. Who the hell placed it there, redefining the parkway making it a freeway?
So the navigation system had to calculate an alternative route right through the nirvana of the country. My stopover for getting gas was St. Gertraud. Well-appointed with some supplies and gas I am rolling through the city of Graz, making my way to Klagenfurt where I had a coffee at the next ÖAMTC base.
Styria, especially Graz is nothing compared to the open air madhouse of Klagenfurt. Believe me, I know what I am talking about. My day should end in a hostel, where I got reminded of my army times…
