I own a Nokia N900 since some weeks now and I couldn’t let it go as I had to collect info for this posting. One of the hardest things to do as a blogger is collecting info for you, the audience.
As I won’t get any commiseration, let’s get serious again. The Nokia N900 is a linux based masterpiece of Nokia, which convinces due to the technical gadgets and of course – Linux.
The integrated metric wave transmitter allows you to send to your radio, WLAN connects to the internet if needed, GPS lets you find the way – and anything runs on Linux which offers a vast number of applications and ways to go. All that is powered by an ARM CPU running at 1 GHz which is close to be a laptop.
A full blown QWERTY-Keyboard offers ways to type texts with ease and the screen is big enough to deal with most emails. Even browsing is fun with that phone as it offers a real browser with real Flash support.
