A new MTA

I guess you all know the common problem with cheap hardware being used as a server box, don’t you? I’m fed up with those troubles and decided to use some professional hardware.

It doesn’t sound that bad running a desktop workstation as a server, but have you ever thought about that such PCs are not made to run 24 hours a day? The consequence might be unexpected breakdowns. So if you sum it up alltogether – time, spare parts, anger, risk – is the cheap PC really that cheap?

In my case here it wasn’t worth all the anger – so I got me two IBM Server to do the serving. Surprisingly there were no problems getting the server installed. The reason for is IBM hardware which is really linux-friendly.
