WP-BlackCheck Preview

After having to suffer a nice spam attack against this blog serving about 3000 comments per hour, my Blacklist started to grow and I did wreck my braincells about some ideas on how to make my plugin a little more effective. But what’s effective at all? To be able to answer this question, I started to implement statistics about various traps – to be able to see how effective or useful they really are. And that’s what they could look like (screenshot shows a development snapshot):

I can only speak about my server situation here, but it will be worth doing that stats now as we’re currently facing holidays which means, spammers do have more time to dispatch their junk. So I am looking forward to an interesting time.
