LinuxDay 2010 in Dornbirn

Last Weekend was the day of the LinuxDay in Dornbirn, in Vorarlberg. This is one of those events, where a geek like me feels ‘home’ as it is possible to talk with likeminded people like Thomas, someone of the KDE Team or Mark and Miriam of the Amarok-Hackers

The day was pretty awesome and even got better as I was invited to stay and help at the KDE presentation to introduce it to the people. Nevertheless we had quite some time to talk about Linux in general and exchanged some ideas and tips like the hack of Lennart Poettering to get the system a little bit more responsive. I have to admit that the chairs weren’t really that comfortable and I would have loved to have a couch there or the Beanbag I own for relaxed talking, but – it was great talk.

But my personal Highlight of the day was listening to my Mixtapes at the Amarok presentation of Markey and Miriam who promoted me a little that way. The result was quite some listeners at our site – for the presentation and for the music…
