Looking at the current mobile phones, it seems like those little companions would like to be a notebook replacement. But to be honest, something’s missing – and that’s a full keyboard – a keyboard that allows you to type as used to.
So I looked at different solutions like the new iPad of apple – which was quite disappointing for me as it is just a bigger version of an iPhone. Getting realistic, there is no way around a sub- or mini notebook:
A small, but full grown computer having a slightly weaker CPU and a smaller screen so that the device actually gets portable without burning your pocket. Even if I wouldn’t work on those items every day, I have to admit that they can be good friends on the road and they don’t have problems with Flash websites.
Especially for us technical folks, such tinies are interesting friends, especially for quick testing as you don’t need to unpack the bigger brother. Regarding the price, it isn’t as bad. Mini Notebooks are already available at the Technik-Dispatch Site
