JSSpamBlock is (really) dead now?

After Paul Butler’s Announcement of the end of JSSpamBlock maintenance, I was not really worried about the plugin itself, as it still did its job in a perfect way. If you think back, there are enough unmaintained plugins around, doing their job perfectly within a current WordPress installation.
But you know about theory and reality by now, because in this case, some of the comment functions JSSpamBlock was using were changed and rendered the plugin unusable. The root of the problem is the new possibility to reply to comments from within the administrative backend. But however – Paul is not maintaining the plugin anymore due to lack of interest.

We’re getting older every year – that’s a fact we cannot deny, even if we try to. But the cruel thing is, that discussion boards, web services and even friends are sending their greetings to remind you, that you’re older again. But Rei already noticed by herself.

Mal was Anderes…

Neugierig und irgendwie doch voller Erwartungen ging ich zum ersten Kursabend des Ersthelfer-Kurses. Was kommt da auf mich zu? Weiß ich noch etwas, weil mein Erste-Hilfe-Kurs für den Führerschein liegt nun doch ein paar Jahrzehnte zurück (genau genommen sind es zwei Jahrzehnte, also könnte man das “paar” auch groß schreiben…) und meine Kenntnisse, die reichen grad, um einen Verunglückten sicher und zuverlässig ins Jenseits zu befördern, also theoretisch die Erste Letzthilfe…

Trauerbewältigung

Vergangener freitag, 17.20 uhr, stau wie üblich…
irgendwie sind mir die beiden burschen schon aufgefallen, die da mit ihrer kleinen keksdose im stau immer wieder abstand lassen, dann volle kanne loshobeln und zuletzt voll in die eisen latschen und nur mehr ein paar zentimeter hinter dem heck meiner maschine zum stehen kommen…

Social networks and such things are everywhere. They are fine possibility for everyone to take his share at the striptease session regarding personal data. Web for being a part of it, web to be touched, web 2.0, web the trap – as it never forgets.
Every day search engines crawl a huge mass of sites and even archiving tools, as seen on archive.org are out to gather input.

allerseelen. allerheiligen. die absolut perfekten termine für all jene, die den drang verspüren, die jährliche friedhofsrally mit ihrer anwesenheit zu beehren, die modenschau der dezent makabren art.
friedhofsrally, klingt wie “wörthersee 2008, ich war auch dabei”…
hochsaison für friedhofsgärtner, maronibrater und taxifahrer…
