A few days ago a friend of mine asked me if I could help him to find a new place to live in. I nodded and thought that it can’t be that bad at all to keep my eyes and ears open; But as life shows: let people speak their sentences to the end: The new flat should be at the other end of the country, in Upper-Austria, where I lived before. Honestly, that makes things a little bit more complicated.

What I might do is: Getting Newspapers from there shipped to me – Pointless. Newspapers Online – maybe, but yeah. It does smell like some work. And who does care about my timing and work here? There’s got to be something more simple around. An ad mentioned that there is a service named immobilienscout24.at. So I decided to check it out.

The first page is pretty simple and reminds me of Google: A search field in the center where I am able to enter the area code or city. The next page presents the search results and offers the possibility to apply filters to narrow my search. Even sorting results is possible.

The number of search results is satisfying too: about 20 results for my quest. Thumbs up, guys. That’s my two cents about your work.
