It is everywhere in the media: the discussion about killer games – What will it lead to? Here are some buzzwords from the news:
Warnings on packages, penalty… and that very soon.
The scenario would be, that nearly every computer game would be g-rated. So the only game a teenager could buy would be something like ‘Bob and his adventures in the zoo’, because no matter if it is an RPG or strategic battle (let’s leave the first person shooters aside, ok?) – you win by eliminating the enemy. All of the MMORPGs – even Guild Wars – would be forbidden for people younger than 18 years as you gain experience by cutting down enemies… Hold on a second. That would mean that no more idiotic kids would fuck up our games? No more little kids leaving missions as they think they cannot go on?
Where can I attach my signature??
Ok people – let’s get serious… Isn’t it the legal guardians job to care for? This is a call for your sanity – if you make those games illegal, it will be more interesting for those kids getting them and p2p will boom. Why not marking everybody as a potentiality bully as everybody could do…
