Reading Bios info
I don’t know what you think of rebooting for getting information from your computers’ bios, but I would take it as quite disturbing. Bios supporting the SMBIOS/DMI standard can be queried using the dmidecode command. You can even read the bios version using the following command: dmidecode -s bios-version
