Knights in Munich – Day 5
This is the last day and we are finally breaking down the camps. Five days are a really long time for such an event. At 20:00 we started moving out back into the civilisation for getting rid of the dust of the last days.
I would like to say thank you to the people who made it possible and did that many things for us against great odds like aggravated fire protection requirements. Thank you very much!

This day is a monday, a nice day indeed – if you do not have to work. I had much time to do some shopping. So I got me a gambeson and chain mail. The latter had to be modified. But I think there will be enough time…

Knights in Munich – Day 3
This day was really hot – but not only considering the weather.
One of the actors on the event who spent his time in fighting fell in love with a blade of mine. The shorter sword I used to use in combination with my buckler… He traded his leather armor for it. Pictures follow :)

Knights in Munich – Day 2
Saturday – the first rush of pupils was over and the family business started. But the people of munich are not used to such events – so not many people came round for asking the runes either. So I started to make a shirt. I could even finish it.

The beginning of the event was great as we were visited by very many people. But there were not many people asking the runes. – And those who did, were really tightfisted as I worked for donations…

Knights in Munich – Day 0
Today, everything gets set up! This is the reason why we are running in circles since 08:00 in the morning although the event is reachable in 15 minutes – by foot. But you know, things need to be bought or done before we can start.
Disregarding the hard ground, the heat was our biggest problem while setting up the tents. But that was nothing compared to the additional requirements regarding security…

After leaving Feldkirch we met at the Erben der Drachen to pack our things together needed for the medieval camp – which includes the latest gossip, of course. Let’s see what the weather will be like.
